Salzburg Christmas Market

From the 21 November 2024 to the 1 January 2025 the Christmas Market takes place.

The traditional Christmas market turns the market square in front of Salzburg Cathedral into a winter wonderland. In addition to choral performances, the tower brass band and the crib exhibition, the program also includes the traditional “Perchtenlauf” a procession with disguised people. As with every Christmas market, the decorated wooden houses with all kinds of treats, artisan products and gift ideas for the beloved cannot be missing. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere during a stroll through the Christmas market.
